South bank at night

Was just clearing out some old images from my hard drive and found these....  I just got my new DSLR and wanted to try some long exposure night time photography.  I managed to get some grea shots of the Millenium Bridge and area around the Tate Modern.

All shots were taken on  my Canon 50D DSLR using an 18-200mm kit lens after 9pm.  The exposure times varied from 5 to 15 seconds.

The new and improved site!

After more changes to the site than I can remember, I have finally completed the branding of www.nw10photography.com.

As with with my style of photography, I believe that the site should be simple and to the point.  There  is a slide show of images on the home page, you get to know a bit about me, the wedding package and pricing, and there is is link for clients to view their images in a private gallery - as well as a link to this blog where you can be kept up to date and view other work that I have been doing!

Enjoy the new site!

Roger and Maxine's pre-wedding shoot

Well it seems as though I had only just put this blog together yesterday, but it was three weeks ago which has gone by extremely quickly!!

I had the pleasure of doing a pre-wedding shoot with Roger and Maxine, whose wedding I will be photographing at the end of this month.  We had a fantastic time making the best use of their back garden and the neighbour's garage wall!

The session was great fun and I was able to get to know Roger and Maxine even more that evening.  I think that pre-wedding shoots are invaluable for strengthening the professional relationship with the couple.

The couple gets to know your style and the way you communicate to them whilst doing your job, and finally they will know how you will be posing them on the day - instead of fumbling with them and eating into valuable photography time.  A pre-wed shoot can only add to the smoother running of the wedding photography, and as we have found common ground in humour, make it more fun and relaxed whilst doing so!

Attached are a few of the images that were taken that evening.
